Driver Requirements

Must be at least 23 Years of Age
Must have at least 2 years of driving experience with a minimum of 6 months flatbed experience
Must have experience hauling steel coils
No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
No reckless or careless violations on their driving record
No DUI or DWI within the last 10 years
No previous failures or refusals of DOT drug or alcohol screens
No past criminal convictions involving drugs
No more than one “at fault” accident within a three (3) year period
Submit and pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen as established by the department of transportation in 49 CFR parts 391 and 40
Completion of Alabama Steel Coil Certification
Driver must obtain a TWIC Card
